Your POOL LEAK can be OUR Priority

Need a Leak Locator you can Trust?

We are just a phone call or text away

At PoolLeak.one we provide the needed excellence & expertise for pools that Leak. We have lots of Leak finding experience, with an attitude that we rarely give up while we are in Leak locating mode.

PoolLeak. one gets it done like no one-for central Long Island, N.Y.

1 in 20 Pools are said to be Leaking at any one time. Probably even a higher % of Long Island Pools, due to age of the average pool here, as well as cold weather conditions, especially bad for the 2025/26 harsh winter.

Electronic Leak locating (compared to a scuba diver) for Liner repair, sounds impressive, but there is a reason why almost ALL the most well known divers (including us) on Long Island have abandoned this method of Leak Finding, and gone back to the old fashioned way of handling leaks in a liner, with a scuba diver. Those reasons include:

  • Sometimes the electronic guys patch holes that might not actually Leak, but just emit a Leak type sound. Those guys charge per patch typically.
  • A diver as a routine check can & will check for Leaks at the light (a common occurrence), Leaks at the bottom drain, or gaskets in the pool especially at the skimmers, stairs or the main drain. Do you think a guy with a pole can do that? ABSOLUTELY NOT! (Sometimes we get calls where the electronic guy didn't resolve liner Leak issues completely)
  • Those guys could take minutes for each patch, while a diver can do maybe 10 patches in 5 minutes. Probably 25-50% of the time there is more than 1 hole, probably 10% of the time a pool has 10+ holes. We see many pools per season that have 50+ holes - we can at least slow down those Leaks if not eliminate pool Leaks with even 10+ holes. The electronic guy that patches with the end of a pole, will not be able or willing to patch a lot of holes OR he will CHARGE TWO ARMS AND A LEG TO DO ALL THAT PATCHING.

You can give us a call if you need an estimate for a leak check for your liner.

Have a Pipe Leak? Do you Want to Repair or replace it?

If you want to repipe your pool, we are not that co., but we should be able to refer you to another co. to give you an estimate. Pipe Leak locating is a fairly straightforward process, but can be a difficult one. Our company can determine which pipeline is bad or has a Leak, by doing what's called a pressure test. By pressurizing a pipe with air (like a tire) and plugging the ends of the pipe, we measure the loss of pressure (indicating a leak's significance), with something similar to a tire gauge. From that point, once we establish whether the return or skimmer line has a Leak, then we work towards precisely locating that source of the hidden pipe Leak, with our special equipment & techniques. If you don't want to be bothered with fixing the suspected damage, you can get estimates to re-pipe that part of the pool - that is, to have either the skimmer or return line replaced etc. (or the whole pool can be repiped).

The benefits of targeting the pipe Leaks location, is primarily a cost saving measure, and usually the prudent choice. Doing an excavation of the pipe (for a repair) can also could help provide a possible assessment/evaluation of the overall health of the pipes, in general and/or type of pipe etc. Once we define the Leaks suspected location, your pool co. can perform a minimally invasive excavation for the repair. By us pinpointing the break, the disturbance of property should be limited. Damage to your property is reduced when compared to an entire re-pipe. Generally, it's not necessary to re-pipe the pool in most cases. But on occasion, due to age of pipes, or suspected termite damage or multiple Leaks it will become a necessary task or at least that is something that should be contemplated.

How Much do we care about finding your Pool Leak?

Almost as much as you, and even more than getting paid $. Because our policy is not to take your hard earned money, unless we find your Leak. Finding Leaks is our only service we do for pools. Searching for leaks is based on 1 fixed rate that we charge, not by the hour. So Leak locating time is on our dime too! - not solely yours. We can sometimes find Leaks that some others can't, or are not even willing to spend the time investigating.
